A Newborn Story

Congrats! You did it! You are the proud parent of a brand new baby!!! Now prepare for quite possibly the snuggliest and cutest images you have ever seen. That is what to expect.

Newborn sessions can take place any time in the first few months. Most sessions take place in your home to maximize the coziness and personality of the session. But don’t panic clean your house for me! I will find a few spots in the house to use and the rest can be a hot mess! I look for good natural light which could be an open doorway, a big window, or sky light (I will turn off all of the lights in your house, haha). The other two spots I love to use are the baby’s room, and then a big bed. It doesn’t have to be your bed, it can be a guest room too!

And honestly, if you want to take a nap while I am snapping photos of each nuanced movement of that sweet little baby, that is totally fine!

Fun fact: I fell asleep during my daughter’s newborn session :)
