My favorite locations for sessions around St. Louis Pt. 2

We are so dang lucky in the Midwest when it comes to locations. I mean, we are literally surrounded by “magic spots” as I like to call them. A location does not necessarily make a session, but it sure can shape the feeling you have during the session. And it inspires the story I tell with your gallery. So here are a few of my favorite locations in the St. Louis area for a session!

(Check out Part 1 here: Favorite St. Louis Area Locations Part 1)

Downtown Kirkwood

An adorable and trendy spot with great style!

Downtown Kirkwood is full of inspiration and great style! It is perfect for families with older kids or a couple who wants a little more energy than a park can offer.

Bangert Island

Tall trees and moody vibes.

If you want dark and moody vibes, this is such a great spot. The forest is right off of the trail so this view is easily accessible. I kind of love the tall skinny trees, they just bring a different energy to a session and you (and your clothes) can be the star of the show!

Queeny Park

That sunset tho.

Queeny Park is a classic. I have had many a session there and loved every single one. The most recognizable element is the charming greenhouse frame but there are also some great trails with even better golden hour light, a small garden, and a cute archway to cuddle under.

Studio Space

No weather cancellations here baby!

I have some great studio space options available for rent in the area! This is always a great option during the colder months or if you want a cozier feel without cleaning your house. Ask me about options downtown or in the St. Charles area!

I hope I was able to introduce you to a few new places in the area or at least look at them with a new eye!

Feel free to share any spots with me that give you inspiration. I am always scouting out new spots and looking for amazing spaces.

Let’s get a session on the books and come up with the perfect location for you! You can view my portfolios HERE!

Until next time,
